The KGAL ESPF 6 Energy Transition Fund invests in a green hydrogen project in Lubmin, a port on the Baltic Sea in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern. It will be Germany’s largest planned hydrogen hub with a capacity of up to 1,050 MW. Working with PtX Development GmbH and GP Joule, KGAL plans to install approximately 210 MW of electrolysis capacity in the first phase, expected to be completed in 2028, followed by another 840 MW in subsequent phases.
