The Japanese electronics manufacturer Sharp said it is withdrawing his Sese -daughter company of the European Solar Market.

The group said in a statement that Sese, based in Hamburg, will stop the activities on March 31. The subsidiary has been part of the Zonne market for 30 years.

Until that date, all current projects, orders and requirements of Sese for his range of solar modules and related products will be processed.

Sharp blamed “difficult circumstances in the European solar market” for the decision. It said that the closure would not affect its other business areas in Europe or the remaining solar activities.

“From April 1, 2025, Sharp Electronics GMBH will continue to offer customer service,” the group said. “All product and performance guarantees remain valid for the duration of the warranty period and are managed and managed by Sharp Electronics GmbH.”
