Talusag starts the production of green ammonia in Iowa – PV Magazine International

Landus and Talusag have launched the production of commercial Green Ammonia in Iowa, supported by American federal clean hydrogen tax credits, while Iberdola España and BP have started building the largest green hydrogen project in Spain, with 25 MW capacity.

TalusagA subsidiary of Talus Renewables has started with commercial green ammonia production in Iowa with the help of what it calls the first and only modular systems in North America. Talusag CEO Hiro Iwanaga said Import tariffs can disrupt the supply chains of fertilizers and American farmers, whereby the emphasis is on the dedication of the company to support local communities with green ammonia produced in their own country. He added that the partnership of the company with Landus reinforces the resilience of the American supply chain. Supported by federal clean hydrogen tax credits, the Talusag system produces up to 20 tons of ammonia per day.

Solaris has supplied the first 37 of 137 hydrogen buses that were ordered for Bologna and Ferrara, Italy. The Polish manufacturer said The delivery marks the initial phase of a large -scale order that was placed by transport operator Tper at the end of 2023. Under the contract, Solaris Urbino supplies 12 hydrogen buses, each equipped with a fuel cell of 70 kW and five roof -mounted hydrogen tanks with a total capacity of 37.5 kg.
