Grow Solar to set up 3 GW Ingot module factory in India

Grow Solar says that his new factory in Indian is Madhya Pradesh 3 GW of ingots, waffles, cells and modules per year.

Grow Solar, a renewable energy company from the Chiripal Group, based in Ahmedabad, will invest INR 300 billion ($ 3.5 billion) to build a three-phases backwards integrated solar module factory in Madhya Pradesh.

The facility, located in Narmadapuram near Bhopal, will produce 60 hectares and 3 GW of ingots, waffles and cells per year. Once operational, it will create more than 1,000 jobs in the region.

Grow Solar currently has a production facility of 3 GW in Jaipur, with another 5 GW in Dudu, Jaipur, which brings the total capacity of the factory to 8 GW.
