Companies show an interest in developing 235 MW of Solar Energy in Albania – PV Magazine International

The Albanian government has received requests from four companies that want to develop four separate solar projects throughout the country.

AlbaniaThe Ministry of Infrastructure and Energy of Infrastructure and Energy has received from four companies that want to build four solar projects with a cumulative capacity of a total of 235 MW.

According to Albanian Telegraphic Agency (ATA), the four projects include a site of 49.96 MW, which is located in the Finiq municipality in South Albania, presented by Greensol.

The other projects are a facility of 45 MW in the municipality of Divjakë in West Albania, submitted by Agro Iliria Group, a 100 MW project in the Fier municipality of South Albania from Euron Solar-PV and a location of 40 MW in the Neighborhood of the village of the village of Shmil, Eastern Albania, presented by Rozafa. Each of the four projects is not subject to concessions and would not benefit from support measures.

While the global clean energy industry is trying to navigate through the turbulent waters of a hostile new American administration, the February edition of PV -Magazine Investigates the prospects of solar energy in the midst of a continuous large -range size, sees the benefits of supporting policy in the Philippines and asks whether mainstream “CPC” panel back shoes are probably reliable in the long term.

The ATA report adds that last year there was a five -fold increase in the production of the sun factories of Albania, mainly of the Efficiency of the caravasta photovoltaic plant, a 140 MW site developed by Volalia.

Albania ran a 300 MW of Zonne -Oppresenting last year. The Ministry of Infrastructure and Energy on the shortlistic bidders with an average price of € 0.0513 ($ 0.054)/kWh offered on 283.9 MW capacity allocated in July.

The country had deployed 163 MW Solar at the end of 2023, according to figures from the International Renewable Energy Agency (Irena).
