Italian PV production equipment supplier Ecoprogetti said it has supplied the American solar manufacturer CS Solar MFG LLC with a production line of 800 MW module.
CS Solar MFG LLC plans to use the equipment in the facility at a non -specific location in Texas. De Lijn was conceived for the production of half-cut bifacial glass perc panels with an efficiency of more than 22%.
“The Ecoprogetti technology is fully UL-conform and fully adapted to the US 480V electrical standards, which eliminates the need for extra investments in electrical compliance and a considerable time-to-market for manufacturers is reduced,” the company said in a statement. “With a production capacity of more than 2,100 modules per day, CS Solar MFG will make an important contribution to the growing solar energy market in the country.”
The financial conditions of the delivery agreement were not revealed.
“For us, the American market will be one of the most strategic in the next five years,” said Ecoprogetti CEO, Laura Sartore. “We are actively considering launching the local production for our machines – which we have maintained the service activities that we have maintained for more than ten years – to better serve our customers with a stronger local presence.”
Ecoprogetti recently delivered the PV module production lines in Oman, India and Morocco.
