The first Tolled Bess from Germany secures project financing – PV Magazine International

Israeli developer and independent electricity producer Nofar Energy has secured EUR 86.5 million ($ 92.5 million) in project financing of Nord / LB for its 104.5 MW / 209 MWH Stendal Bess project in Germany.

The Stendal project is supported by a seven-year flexibility agreement with a flexibility of the fixed price (FPA). In announcement of the deal in December 2024Nofar described it as the first of its kind in continental Europe.

Although it is customary in the US and China, in particular for self -containing installations for the installations in the field of utility scale, toll agreements for Bess appeared for the first time in Europe last year, First in the UK.
