Where Energies to start 5.4 GW Solar Cell Factory – PV Magazine International

Where Energies will soon be 5.4 GW State-of-the-Art Solar Cell Manufacturing Plant in Chikhli, inaugurated India.

Where Energies will be on March 29, 5.4 GW Solar Cell Manufacturing Plant in Chikhli, Navsari, Gujarat, on March 29.

The company has started the commercial production of a 1.4 GW Monocrystalline Perc (Mono Perc) Zonnelijn, the first phase of the planned 5.4 GW capacity.

The largest production facility for solar cells from India, the Chikhli factory, will add Topcon production of solar cells in the next phase 4 GW.

Where Energies said that the facility advanced automation, state-of-the-art production lines and strict quality control measures includes to guarantee efficiency and reliability.

Waaaree Energies, with head office in Mumbai, has production facilities with a total installed capacity of 13.3 GW for PV modules, including 1.3 GW from Indosolar.
