The Polish National Fund for Environmental Protection and Water Management (NFOśigw) opened a call for applications for co-financing of energy storage facilities on 4 April. The long -awaited subsidy scheme is intended to improve the stability of the National Power Grid and the energy breach of the country.
More than PLN 4 billion ($ 1 billion) provided by the Modernization Fund of the European Union will be distributed at the end of 2025 under the subsidy scheme To bring more than 5 GWh of energy storage projects online by 2028.
