Jindal (India) LTD, part of the BC Jindal Group and a manufacturer of electricity steel products, the renewable energy sector has entered the launch of his Jindalume line of Aluminum-Zink (Al-ZN) Coated coils for the mounting of the solar module.

The aluminum zinc coating offers superior corrosion resistance, structural strength and extensive durability, making Al-Zn-Rins well suited for hard outdoor conditions and applications for solar module.

A spokesperson for Jindal (India) said that the company sees a strong potential on the solar market. The Jindalume product is designed for long-term sustainability and reliability, so that solar infrastructure remains robust for decades.

Jindal (India) has already started delivering Jindalume to the solar industry.

The company has two production facilities near Kolkata that serves markets throughout India. It has recently announced a strategic capacity extension of 0.6 million tonnes, an increase of 60% compared to the current 1 million tonnes per year. The investment will support the product portfolio of advanced R&D and expand the Jindal product portfolio (India), which strengthens the presence in the renewable energy sector.

In 2024, the BC Jindal Group announced plans to invest around $ 2.5 billion in the Indian energy sector in India for the next five years. It created a dedicated entity, Jindal India Renewable Energy, to manage its renewable power generation and solar cell and module production activities. The company wants to generate 5 GW of strength from sources for solar, wind, hybrid and FDRe sources, while they also produce PV cells and modules to meet the growing demand for solar sun.
