GS Power Partners Flips switched to 8 MW Community Solar Project on the roof

Commercial activities have started at GS Power Partners‘(GSPP) Dorsey Run Solar, a solar array on the roof organized on an industrial building in Maryland, owned by an account managed by Principal Asset Management. Black Bear Energy The project facilitated in collaboration with GSPP, from concept to commissioning.

“Dorsey Run Solar represents a number of important milestones for GSPP. It was our first project in Maryland and marks more than 8 MW installed solar energy in collaboration with Black Bear Energy. In addition to supplying cheap renewable electricity to households in the region, Dorsey Run contributes Maryland’s Renewable Portfolio Standard (RPS) programFounded in 2004 to record the economic, environmental, fuel diversity and safety benefits of renewable energy. The RPS program of Maryland is required that by 2030 50% of the state of the state must come from sources of renewable generation.

“This partnership shows how our cooperation model successfully brings clean and affordable renewable energy for disadvantaged population groups in Maryland. We look forward to announcing extra projects in the future,” said Drew Torbin, founder and president of Black Bear Energy.
