During the 13th Energy Storage International Conference and Expo (ESIE2025) on 10 April, Trinastorage, the energy storage arm of Trina Solar, revealed its latest generation of Elementa 3 liquid -cooled energy storage system, which drew attention from participants in the industry.
The Elementa 3 system has powerful 565 AH battery cells and delivers a nominal capacity of 6.017 MWh with a typical four-hour discharge duration. With an energy density of 420Wh/L, the system was designed to meet the growing requirements for storage solutions with high density, high density.
It uses liquid cooling with an integrated top-mounted cooling structure, which stimulates the energy density on project locations by 22%, while the difference on the operating temperature of the battery within a narrow 2.5 C range is maintained. This thermal stability allows more than 10,000 full load discharge cycles about the life cycle of the system.
