Portuguese manufacturer of cleaning solutions for the PV industry Chemitek Solar has announced a new version of its antistatic pollution mitigation coating for panels.

Dubrynchronized antistatic solar parsing 2.0, the product has a new formula that is said to ensure that panels remain cleaner for longer and reduces the need for frequent deer application.

“We developed the new anti -static solar parsing 2.0, with the aim of at least one year of life to adapt to the annual cleaning cycle of most PV plants worldwide,” said César Martins, CEO of Chemitek. “This new version protects the modules for the full time between cleaning, so that it is minimized throughout the year.”

The solution is designed to be used during routine cleaning operations by mixing it directly into the cleaning water, with a ratio of 1 kg of the product to 1,000 liters of water. It can then be applied with a cleaning robot or a brush on a tractor. According to the manufacturer, the TÜV is certified for safety and reliability.

“The simple integration of regular cleaning avoids extra activities and costs,” the company added. “With sustainability in mind, the anti-static solar epderage 2.0 is biodegradable, non-toxic, on water-based and free of hard chemicals such as solvents and ammonia. The pH-neutral composition ensures that it is soft for both the environment and the components of the solar panel.”

The solution is sold in 2 kg, 5 kg, 20 kg and 1,000 kg containers. It has a shelf life of three years when it is closed, six months after opening the container, and 48 hours after dilution with cleaning water. “The combined anti-static and anti-adhesive properties result in a profit of up to 5% in energy production by slowing down the resting structure,” Chemitek Solar claimed.
