Tigo Energy announced a new solution for PV applications outside the grid.

The off-grid solar package Contains power at module level wealth optimizers, an inverter, a battery and an automatic transfer switch. It also contains DC-Couple configurations of 20 kWh or 40 kWh of energy storage. Solar panels must be purchased separately.

Tigo said the solution was designed to simplify the installation and configuration. Installers can use the TIGO EI app to complete a self-guided activation and operation of the system.

Configuration of the off-grid solar package.

“Although generating electricity away from the grid was one of the original applications for solar energy, those systems are historically both complex and adapted configurations; our powerful off-grid solar package changes that,” said Archie Roboostoff, vice-president of software at Tigo Energy.

TIGO said that the energy needs and DC architecture of the system return losses for eliminating current losses for storage, modulesmermatch and shadow and cutting losses.

The kit comprises TS4 optimizers who make power optimization at module level, production monitoring and fast closure possible. The optimisers are suitable for a maximum of 700 W solar panels and are supplied with a 25 -year warranty.

The optimizers feed in the egg -converter of the company, a hybrid stringer inverter of 11.4 kW that easily integrates with energy storage. The 80 V -Omverter has four maximum Power Point -Trackers (MPPT) and 200% DC oversizing for design flexibility. The inverter comprises a meter of income quality.

The power is stored in the egg battery, a lithium-iron phosphate (LFP) battery with 9.9 kWh per housing. The inverter can support a maximum of 4 batteries and add up to 39.6 kWh per inverter. The battery has 5 kW continuous power with a peak power of 6 kW. It is IP56/NEMA4 assessed for use of outdoor and indoor use. The battery has a guarantee of 132 months or 6,000 cycles, depending on what occurs first.

The Automatic 200A Transfer Switch component supports the property in switching electrical taxes from the grid to batterybackup. It also has inputs for a reserve supervisor for extra food storage storage.

All components are coordinated by the Tigo Energy Intelligence software platform for external monitoring and operations.

Tigo Energy said that his off-grid package comes as a response to requests from his traditional residential solar customers.
