Kitu Systems has announced the launch of his new EV Charge Management Software, Expedition CMS. Expedition CMS is designed for both site owners and vehicle driver programs and offers user-friendly, web-based and mobile applications for intuitive, flexible and intelligent EV loading management.
Expedition CMS offers a complete range of loading solutions, from level 2 residential and workplaces to powerful DC DC-fast chargers for heavy vehicles and long-distance travel. It is an application with double-targeted, both admin-hosts and EV steering programs, which provides a flexible software-as-a-service platform that supports connectivity, site management, access checks, payment systems and advanced charging management in various loading environments.
The platform integrates very interoperable and integrates with a growing ecosystem from EVSE manufacturers, which ensures consistent experience, regardless of the hardware brand or the site figure. Kitu is currently cooperating with a growing network of market leaders, including Chargetronix, Fractalev and more. The solution also supports several standard interfaces for both charging stations and utility management systems, including OCPP, IEEE 2030.5, ISO 15117, OpenADR 2.0B and more. It can also combine load management with CSIP control elements of California Smart Inverter Profile (CSIP) of other Ders.
Although new on the wider market, the EV -Laadtechnology of Kitu -EV -Laad is mature and has been refined in production environments for many years. Expedition CMS is currently working on North American utility-guided pilot programs and commercial implementations, and supports Charge Point Operators (CPOs) with a fully integrated supply-covering hardware, software, user apps, payment processing, low carbon fuel standard (LCFS) credit management.
“Kitu has always been a leader in grid-cedge solutions. The rapid adoption of electric vehicles means that in addition to the contents of basic needs for public and private loading needs, Kitu Action Platform Expedition CMS module has been built in a targeted way to help complex grid-related needs with Kitto-Eadven.
