SECI concluded his tender for the delivery of 1.2 GW of RTC power power completely from renewable energy, with an average rate of INR 5.06 ($ 0.059)/kWh.

Hero Future Energies secured 120 MW and Hexa Climate Solutions won 100 MW by quoting the lowest rate of INR 5.06/KWh. Jindal India Power Secure 150 MW and Sembcorp Green Infra lasted 50 MW, both at a rate of INR 5.07/kWh.

The winning developers will implement the projects under a building model. The projects can be established anywhere in India, but must be connected to the interstate transmission system (ISTS).

Strength can be generated from solar, wind, wind solper hybrid or another system based on renewable energy, with mandatory support from an energy storage system.

SECI signs a 25-year-old Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) with the successful bidders. The purchased power is sold to various bargains throughout India.

Developers must maintain a monthly question ratio of 75%, 80% per year and 90% during peak hours.
