Gov. Greg Abbott from Texas recognizes the American solar production with Staatsprlamation

This week SolarEdge Technologies has announced a milestone performance in its American production activities: the production of its 250,000th solar clerk in the Flex facility in Austin, Texas. As a recognition of this performance, Governor Greg Abbott of Texas officially declared 2 June 2025 as “SolarEdge-Flex Manufacturing Milestone Day.” This statement honors the considerable economic, environmental and technological impact of the SolarEdge-Flex partnership in the Lone Star State.

“Texas leads the nation in advanced production and energy innovation,” said Gouverneur Abbott. “The cooperation between SolarEdge and Flex reinforces the position of our state as the energy capital of the world. These innovative companies help create well -paid jobs, to stimulate economic growth and meet the growing energy requirements with products that have been made proud in Texas.”

SolarEdge has his production and other activities on the hurry and cooperates with Flex, a global production leader with headquarters in Austin, to build a robust domestic supply chain. The Austin facility has now produced a quarter of a million inverters that are used in solar installations on the roof in the US.

“This milestone is proof of the power of American production,” said Marty Rogers, general manager of SolarEdge. “Together with Flex, we are expanding industrial possibilities in the region and we implement advanced production technologies to meet the growing demand, while reinforcing the reliability and resilience of American energy lettering.”
