The Illinois -based heat pump manufacturer Enertech has announced a new geothermal heat pump for residential applications.

The water-fast water-to-water (WV) system has a heating coefficient (COP) of 3.2 with full load and 3.8 for sub-tax.

“Only 42 inches (107 cm) long, redefines the WV versatility through radiant in-floor heating, forced air heating and cooling, and up to 100% of the household hot water needs of a house,” the company said in a statement. “With a wide capacity range of 0.5 to 5 tons (1.8-17.6 kW), real compatibility with double fuel with seamless modulating boiler integration and no need for a buffer tank, the WV offers unparalleled flexibility and space saving for both retrofit and new construction projects.”

Under full load, the system works 41,100 British thermal units per hour (BTU/H) and 20,900 BTU/H under a sub -tax during cooling. The heating capacity for full load is 53,900 BTU/HR and 29,100 BTU/HR for half a load. The cooling energy energy ratio (EEA) is assessed at 17.6 for full tax and 21.6 for sub -tax.

The system has a heat clamp change from the waved plate, a variable compressor and built -in control.

“The WV eliminates extensive components, complex wiring and recruiting of copper and PEX pipes,” said Justin Jowe, Enertech Director of Operations. “It is a smarter, more compact installation – one that appreciates both contractors and customers.”
