Renewsys, an integrated manufacturer of PV modules and components, has unveiled plans to install eight new Encapsulant production lines in his recent factory in Khopoli, Maharashtra.

The expansion will bring the total Encapsulant production capacity of the company up to 30 GW in 19 lines, which focuses on increasing demand in both Indian and global solar market.

The company is currently operating seven Encapsulant lines, with four more planned for commissioning in 2025. Renewsys now has 9 GW Encapsulant and 4 GW of back -sketch capacity.

It also scales its production from solar module to 5.5 GW per tax year 2026-27, supported by a 2.5 GW very efficient solar cellar line under installation.

Renewsys is now expanding its ability to meet the increasing demand as India accelerates its renewable energy transition under policy support of the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy, according to Renewsys Vice chairman and director Avinash Hiranandani.

The company said it aims to support the production of high-quality modules with its Encapsulant solutions. It regards the expansion as part of its broader efforts to build a more sustainable energy future.
