Standard Solar announced that it works with Wattch, a provider of subsequent generation of cloud -based energy monitoring, intelligence and control solutions. Strengthening perceptibility and shipability is a movement that can work more efficiently, adapt to evolving market conditions and meets the increasing operational requirements of a dynamic energy market. According to the agreement, Standard Solar migrates around 370 MW from its existing portfolio to the Wattch platform and uses Wattch’s hardware, software and services to support additional developments in the field of solar and storage in the coming years.

“We worked together with Wattch because of their dedication on data quality, control and integrated SCADA – possibilities that are essential for modern, resilient energy activities,” said Rick Berube, COO of Standard Solar. “Their platform rests our team with the visibility and functionality to optimize performance and to make faster, better informed decisions.”

The partnership was powered by the leading functions of Wattch, including the Wattch Digital Twin that makes deeper insights possible into sources of energy loss, cloud -based diagnostic tools that facilitate identification and resolution from distance and rapidly developing options in automated battery monitoring and controls.

Additional factors in the decision of Standard Solar include the extensive API van Wattch that seamlessly connects to the tools and databases in the current technical stack of the company and the convenience of installation and the ability of the platform to support cheap monitoring retrofits on existing sites.

“We cannot be more excited to expand our relationship with Standard Solar,” said Alex Nussey, co-founder and CEO at Wattch. “Their extensive experience in the management of renewable energy, in combination with the dedication of our engineering team to innovation, will stimulate the continuous improvement of our platform. This partnership ensures that we build solutions that tackle the real operational challenges that our customers are confronted with every day.”
