Another EDPR after DG project.
EDPR na Distributed Generation, the distributed generation of business or EDP Renewables North America, and California Water Service have signed a 20-year PPA for a 2.35 MWDC Onsite Solar Array in the northeastern Bakersfield installation installation of Cal Water. The collaboration is designed to reduce the long -term footprint of the utility.
Cal Water and EDPR NA DG expect the system to generate around 3,800 MWh of renewable energy annually. The renewable energy generated by the Zonne -Array is expected to reduce the energy costs of the network by around $ 1.7 million over the term of the agreement, based on the current electric rates for customers in the Bakersfield District, one of the largest service areas of CAL Water.
