Waaree Energies opens 1.8 GW Solar Module factory in India

Where Energies started production in its new 1.8 GW Solar Module Factory in West India.

Where Energies has started production with the new production facility of 1.8 GW Solar module in India.

The new facility in Chikhli, Gujarat, increases the total installed PV module production capacity from where to 16.8 GW per year. The company also has a 5.4 GW production line for solar cells and is expanding its electricity and upstream capacities aggressively.

Towards the end of the Tax 2027, where Energies scales up to 25.7 GW of the annual production of solar module, 15.4 GW of the production of solar cells and 10 GW Ingot and waffle capacity.

Where Energies also sets a 3.5 GWH Lithium-ion storage cell and energy storage system, a production facility of 3 GW solar converter and a 300 MW Electrolyzer unit to support green hydrogen initiatives.
