EPA tries to end $ 7 billion in solar energy for all subsidies

According to his warpad against solar energy, the EPA is preparing to send termination letters to Solar for all subsidy recipients this week, according to The New York Times. Sun for everyone has assigned $ 7 billion to 60 non -profit organizations and government agencies via the Inflation Reduction Act to deliver solar energy on roofs and community drays to more than 900,000 national households.

Nyt Note that it is unclear how much of the money has been spent so far. The prices were completed last summer, with Community Outreach from the end of 2024.

Solar for all subsidies were hit by the financing freezer shortly after the Trump administration took office, but flocked again after the federal judges intervened. Six non-profit organizations that did not have access to EPA-assessed funds have filed a lawsuit against the EPA, Dept. Or Energy and other government agencies at that time, so that lawsuits can be expected again.

“Solar Energy is cheaper, cleaner and more reliable than dirty fossil fuels. By withdrawing these subsidies, Donald Trump denies our most vulnerable communities a resource that would have helped to illuminate their financial burdens and to have improved their quality of life,” said Patrick Drpp, Sierra Club Climate Policy, in a press steering. “Nothing could be more hypocritical than the promotion of an invented ‘energy law’ to support fossil fuels, while at the same time taking a front hammer to renewable energy projects. We will not continue to exist if Trump continues this dangerous, cruel agenda.”
