Carrier has launched a new series of variable coolant flow heat pump solutions for residential and light commercial applications.

“Offered under both the Carrier and Toshiba Carrier Carrier brands, the Opti-V system strengthens the dedication of the company for innovation, sustainability and customer-oriented design,” the manufacturer said in a statement.

The system is said to support a maximum of nine interior units with a single outdoor unit.

The heat pump also has a cooling Seasonal energy -Efficiency -Assessment (SEER2) of a maximum of 29.7 and a heating season performance factor (HSPF2) of a maximum of 12.2.

According to the manufacturer, the heating supplies at temperatures as low as -30 ° C and cooling in temperatures up to 50 ° C. Sound levels are assessed as low as 31 dB (A) for interior units and 56 dB (A) for outside units.

“The compact footprint and extended piping length-300 m-make the ideal for zero-Lot-Line applications and complex installations,” Carrier said, and noted that the new product is eligible for a 10-year warranty for limited parts.
