Paired forceA leading manufacturer of charging systems for electric vehicles on solar energy (EV), received a patent for his pairtree Solar Canopy solution. The patent, entitled ‘Solar Canaky Systems and Methods’, formally recognizes the own approach of Paired Power of the installation of solar air canopy, which implements electric vehicles in situations with limited or no grid power. This marks the fourth patent of the company since 2016.
The newly patented technology includes a method for increasing solar panels above a foundation using an integrated lift mechanism. In contrast to conventional canopy installations that require increased work, scaffolding or external lifts, solar modules can be assembled at the ground level before they are increased in place. In addition, Pairtree does not require slots or large construction and retains existing parking spaces and can fully eliminate the dependence on the grid during installation.
“Securing this patent for Pairtree is a monumental performance for paired force,” said Tom McCalmont, CEO of Paired Power. “It embodies our dedication to make solutions for sustainable energy more accessible, more efficient and more employable to everyone, everywhere. The possibility of quickly installing solar panels with minimal efforts will speed up the acceptance of electric vehicles by offering charging options at previously disadvantaged locations.”
Pairtree’s combination of solar energy and energy storage can create its own self-powered Microgrid for use in external, off-grid or utility restriction.
