Honeywell Honeywell IONIC System has introduced a compact, end-to-end battery energy storage system (BESS) designed for the commercial and industrial segments. By combining flexible battery storage with the advanced Honeywell operating system, Honeywell Ionic helps to optimize energy costs, absorb fluctuations in energy demand to guarantee grid stability and offer a backup force when needed.

Honeywell’s ionic control and energy management system is fully integrated into the all-in-one modular Bess and offers the latest analytical aids to deliver advanced control and adjustment on site. The advanced checking software also includes industrial standard ISA-secured 2-cyber security, so that the protection for users is guaranteed and vulnerabilities for potential network cyber threats are mitigated.

“Nowadays, organizations of every size are under increasing pressure to use energy more effectively, while at the same time reliability and cost -effectiveness are guaranteed,” said Jim Masso, president of Honeywell Process Solutions. “Honeywell Ionic enables companies to navigate these challenges and at the same time achieve their energy goals by supplying a complete energy automation system that is built on the latest Lithium-ion technology. Accepting autonomous solutions can be crucial for companies to manage energy foods and ultimately to optimize energy sources.”

Honeywell Ionic has a flexible modular system and a stand-alone lithium-ion battery housing. The new, smaller housing enables it to offer a series of electricity storage options, from 250 kWh to 5 MWh to bring scalability of energy storage to more commercial and industrial environments.

Customers can choose from fully integrated on -site energy storage systems for tailor -made agreements that are governed by Honeywell through his external operations center. Honeywell Ionic is now available worldwide.
