Enphase Energy, a supplier based in California of solar converters and energy storage systems, launched its IQ9N-3P, a three-phase micro-microccher for solar projects on a commercial scale.

The micro -inverter is intended for 480 V commercial projects. It contains Gallium nitride (GAN) technology, a first for an and phase -micro -inverters. GAN technology replaces conventional silicon components, of which Enphase said that the faster switch, cooler effect, improved reliability and a conversion efficiency of 97.5% makes it possible.

The device can manage a continuous DC current of 16 A and deliver a maximum of 427 VA from peak output power, to support solar panels up to 600 W. Enphase said that the product can be used for small commercial systems under 100 kW or larger systems with “hundreds of kW” and offers flexibility in the running of the time.

Enphase said that the inverters are useful under the circumstances of shade and unequal roof conditions, making them suitable for commercial roofs with HVAC obstacles, skylights and multi-tant layouts.

The micro-inverter supports a 480/277 V three-phase Wye configuration and also offers a 208 V model. In a WYE configuration, all taxes in an AC system are connected to one point.

The commercial microinverter from Enphase meets UL 1741-SB and IEEE 1547-2018 Grid standards, has rapid closure, phase balancing, voltage/frequency-row-through-through-phase detection for grid safety and system reliability.

The company said by converting DC to AC with every panel, the microomverter avoids the long high-voltage DC runs in traditional centralized (“string”) designs, and offers a safe, already-AC architecture on the roof.

Enphase said that his commercial micro -inverter will be made with domestic content in American production facilities and that the product will enable Buy America Act and America Build America Act Rules, making them eligible for use in federal infrastructure projects.

The product comes with a limited warranty of 25 years. It is available from December 2025.

“De IQ9N-3P-microinverter opent het uitgebreide 480 V commercieel marktsegment met een doorbraakontwerp aangedreven door Gallium-nitride, een brede bandgap halfgeleider die veel wordt gebruikt in geavanceerde radarsystemen en steeds meer aangenomen in medische macht en beeldvormende elektronica,” zei Aaron Gordon, senior vice-president en algemeen directeur van de systeem van de systeem van de systemen bij ENPASE ENERGY.

The IQ9 commercial micro -formers must be connected to the I.Q Gateway Commercial ProThis serves as the communication and control hub for ENPASH commercial systems. The gateway allows real-time monitoring, energy management, external firmware updates and advanced grid functions such as export reduction. It is covered by a 15-year limited warranty.
