The North Carolina provider of Electrical Balance of Systems (EBOs), Voltage Energy, has launched two new pre-assembled wiring solutions for PV projects.

The Lynx product is designed for projects in the field of utilities and powerful rope applications, while the IBEX Plus is for the middle capacity range.

“Our goal is not only to release new solutions, but also to broaden the possibilities of pre-assembled Ebos solutions,” the company said. “Ibex Plus brings value -driven efficiency through flexible aluminum guides, while Nieuwe Lynx combines a high current capacity with reduced voltage trap for large -scale applications.”

Lynx has a trunk capacity of up to 1250 mcm / 791 A, supporting branching cables of up to 4 AWG and uses 90–95 A for large arrays. According to the company, the 34% lower voltage drop compared to 500 MCM designs, especially suitable for projects with less than 1.5% voltage fall requirements.

The new IBEX Plus is designed for the middle capacity range of 70-168 A and is placed between standard harnesses and trunk bus systems. According to voltage energy, it has a flexible aluminum structure of 97% that improves the reliability and installation scales in the long term. It uses a configuration of four ports that supports each combination of copper or flexible aluminum guides.

“Both Ibex Plus and Lynx have been developed with regard to the requirements of UL9703. The factory assembled and IP68 tested minimize the systems of field terminations and human errors,” the company explained. “By shortening working time, reducing the connecting points and guaranteeing the long -term stability, they help optimize EPCs and developers both in advance and the current Opex and at the same time meet strict project time lines.”
