Risen energy has announced the official launch of its N-type 475 W Bifacial Tunnel Oxide Passivated Contact (Topcon) Solar modules on the Australian market and said that the product is perfectly tailored to local requirements.

“With a compact design, the product supplies optimized weight, performance and reliability, making it an ideal solution for Australian sun applications on the roof,” the manufacturer said.

Risen said that the RSM96-11-475BNDG module has a capacity of 475 W and a power conversion efficiency of 23.8%. The open circuit voltage is 36.42 V, the short -circuit current is 16.52 A and maximum system voltage is 1,500 V. The company size temperature varies from -40 ° C to 85 ° C and the manufacturer said it minimizes a low temperature coefficient of -0.29%/° C.

“With 23.8% high efficiency and excellent performance with weak light, the module makes full use of the abundant sunlight of Australia to maximize the energy yield per unit of surface,” Risen said.

The panel measures 1.722 mm x 1.134 mm x 30 mm and weighs 21.5 kg. It has a black anodized aluminum alloy frame and 1.6 mm heat reinforced glass with an anti-reflection coating. The connecting box has an IP 68 rating.

Risen said that the compact and lightweight design, the high power and long-term durability means that the RSM96-11-475BNDG module is “perfectly suitable for roof load and space restrictions while the installation costs are reduced”, and added that the “modules meet the solar requirements of Australia.

Risen offers a 25-year product warranty and a 30-year power output guarantee. Annual linear relegation for 30 years is indicated by 0.40%. The relegation in the first year is supposedly 1% and the 30-year end capacity is guaranteed no less than 87.4% of the nominal output power.
