Chinese Energy Solutions Company Sunwoda Energy has introduced a modular all-in-one Energy Storage System (ESS) for houses and small companies, the company said in a statement. The Suness Power combines hybrid inverters and lithium-iron phosphate (lifepo₄) batteries in multiple configurations.

“In the core, Suness Power integrates an intelligent energy optimizer at the module level that increases the voltage from 51 V to 350-450 V, making flexible stack and parallel operation possible,” the company said. “This function makes it possible to mix new and old battery modules with different states of cargo and health without calibration, which improves life throughput by more than 25%. Each module works independently, with defective modules automatically insulated to guarantee continuous performance.”

The system uses inverters with an output of 5-15 kW and two can work parallel to reach 30 kW. Each inverter connects to one to four battery units, each with a capacity of 5 kWh. A system with one inverters can store 20 kWh, while two inverters in parallel double capacity up to 40 kWh. All systems achieve a maximum efficiency of 97.4% or higher.

“The system reaches 192.3 W/dm³ of power density and 105 Wh/dm³ energy density, while it is 40% thinner than comparable systems, making it especially suitable for urban houses and companies with limited space,” the company said. The smallest configuration measures 650 mm wide, 833 mm high and 250 mm depth, with a weight of 96 kg. The largest system, with two parallel inverters, measures 650 mm by 1,778 mm by 250 mm and weighs 252 kg, or 653 mm at 1,498 mm by 189 mm and 221 kg respectively.

“The robust construction of the product with IP65 protection, corrosion resistance and active thermal management -including built -in stoves -a stable effect over a wide range of climates, from cold winters at -20 C to warm summer conditions,” the company said. “Sunwoda supports the system with a 10 -year warranty for both the inverter and the batteries.”
