With this acquisition, the Madison ecosystem is now in accordance with the operational infrastructure assets for clean energy for hundreds of customers, including Fortune 500 companies, K-12 schools, industrial and production facilities, electrical cooperatives and municipal utilities.

“Today’s announcement is an important milestone in Madison’s trip to deliver exceptional value to leading companies and communities in the US,” said Richard Walsh, CEO of Madison. “We are our partners at Nextera Energy Resources and all those who made this acquisition possible deeply. We embrace our mission with confidence and enthusiasm, and we could no longer be enthusiastic about the path that lies for us.”

In addition, Madison Sun Tribe Solar, the commercial arm of Clean Energy Developer Sun Tribe, acquired the project pipeline, in April 2024.
