Segen is expanding into Ireland and Northern Ireland with an exclusive distribution agreement for the Tesla Powerwall home energy storage system. The new facility will also stock a wide selection of energy storage solutions from Anker Solix, Fox ESS, Dyness, Sunsynk and Solis, in addition to solar panels and related equipment. The company said the Dublin warehouse will offer the widest range of solar and storage products available in the Irish market.

The new warehouse in Dublin will be managed by Crane Worldwide Logistics and is designed to increase product availability and speed delivery. Additionally, working with logistics partner JMC, the warehouse will provide free same-day afternoon collection and next-day delivery to 90% of Ireland.

Spencer Conday, managing director of Segen UK & Ireland, said the Irish solar and storage market is growing rapidly, supported by government incentives. He added that Segen aims to become a leading distributor of renewable energy in the region, offering high quality products, strong technical support and reliable local service.

About Tesla Powerwall, Conday said its launch, along with other leading battery solutions, comes at a crucial time as demand for storage grows, especially in rural areas with limited access to the electric grid.

An online portal will be available to all Segen customers in Ireland, providing real-time pricing, product availability, technical documents and system design tools.

Recently, Segen and French bank BNP Paribas launched a program to finance commercial and industrial solar installations in Great Britain and Germany. Customers could install solar and storage projects through Segen’s C&I installers at no upfront cost, paying over the life of the project to gain full ownership.
