Statcon Energiaa has introduced the Energiaa-X series single-phase grid-tied inverter with powers of 3 kW and 5 kW.

The company said the main applications of the 3 kW inverter are homes, small clinics, gyms, small offices and shops. The inverters come with built-in MPPT (Maximum Power Point Tracking) technology.

Key features of the new products include low current distortion factor, advanced MPPT for higher solar generation, support for wide range of PV voltage, advanced phase-locked loop for seamless grid-interactive mode, remote monitoring with WiFi, transformerless technology , earth fault protection, easy plug-and-play installation, lightning arrester on the grid and PV side, as well as a robust anti-islanding function.

The 3 kW inverter can process a maximum input voltage of 450 V DC from the solar panels. The maximum recommended PV input power is 3.3 kW. The MPPT voltage range, or the voltage range over which the inverter can extract the maximum power from the solar panels, is 100-450 V.

The maximum output current of the 3 kW inverter is 13 A. The total harmonic distortion of the inverter’s output power is less than 3%. The inverter has a maximum efficiency of 97.5%. It measures 282mm x 317mm x 190mm and weighs 7.45kg. The operating temperature range is -25 C to 55 C.
