DCE Solar’s commercial roof racking meets UL 3741 Standard

DCE Solar‘s Eco-Top Rooftop Mounting Structure is now compliant with the UL 3741 Standard. UL 3741 certification is a safety standard that ensures the implementation of proper photovoltaic hazard controls.

Eco-Top Rooftop flat roof solar racking from DCE Solar achieves UL 3741 PV hazard standard.

DCE’s Eco-Top mount uses an integrated wire management system to create more workspace, eliminating the need for additional wire management raceways and accessories. North-South rails include a wire support channel for integrated home run wire management and cable support.

It has a direct racking-to-module frame bolt-through fastening and east-west rail support for proper roof load distribution and structural connectivity, designed to reduce the risk of solar cell microfractures and increasing kilowatt-hour production. The system uses fewer mechanical attachments and ballast blocks than previous racking models to save money on material and labor. Additionally, being UL 3741-compliant eliminates the need for module-level power electronics on arrays, and can mean additional cost savings.

“Passing the UL 3741 certification for our Eco-Top Roof-Top solution underscores our dedication to safety, innovation, and efficiency in the solar industry. This certification not only validates the quality of our product but also provides our customers with the confidence that they are investing in a top-tier, secure solar solution,” said Bill Taylor, CEO of DCE Solar.
