that of Kosovo The Ministry of Economic Affairs has launched a discount program for solar thermal systems aimed at micro, small and medium-sized enterprises.

The subsidy available under the scheme is equal to 40% of the investment value and covers a maximum of €300 per m² of panels, with a maximum of €4,000 ($4,443.66).

Businesses owned or co-owned by women with a 51% stake or more are eligible for an additional €200.

Details on the ministry’s website say the discount scheme was made possible by funding from the European Union. The deadline for registration is August 31.

In June, Kosovo announced a solar energy system subsidy for domestic consumers, with up to €1,000 available per applicant. Registrations for the first of two phases also close on August 31.
