The installed electricity capacity of China reached 3.67 TW by July, with solar energy on 1.11 TW, wind at 570 GW and renewable energy sources that offer almost a quarter of the generation.
The National Energy Administration (NEA) said that the installed electricity generation of China reached 3.67 TW by the end of July, an increase of 18.2% year after year. The solar capacity was 1.11 TW, an increase of 50.8%, while the wind reached 570 GW, an increase of 22.1%. New solar installations for January-July amounted to a total of 223.25 GW, including 11.04 GW in July, a decrease of 48% compared to a year earlier.
