Trina Debuts 5 MWH Energy Storage System – PV Magazine International

The Chinese PV giant Trina Solar has introduced an energy storage system of 5 MWh in strategic regions, including Europe, Asia-Pacific and the Middle East and Africa.

Dubbeds Elementa 2 Pro 5 MWH, the system uses 314 AH cells with a lifespan of 15,000 cycle.

“The Elementa 2 Pro uses EV-grade cells that undergo rigorous abuse tests to guarantee intrinsic safety,” the company emphasized. “A triple-layer electric protection system, combined with an emergency stop function, offers extensive safety in the cabinet, Power Conversion System (PCS) and Energy Management System (EMS), which guarantees stable operation in various environments.”
