ClearVue Technologies offers a combination of advanced solar glazing and integrated solar panels for use in a modular home.

It has developed advanced glass technology that integrates solar energy generation into building surfaces, especially glass and building facades, while maintaining the transparency of the glass to preserve the aesthetics of the building.

The first modular construction order of its kind for ClearVue Technologies, the sale concerns a pilot installation BIPV into a prefabricated prototype of a building, built by Australian modular home specialist Prefabulous.

The FabZero building was developed in partnership with the University of Wollongong’s Sustainable Buildings Research Center (SBRC) to improve energy and environmental efficiency. If successful, ClearVue Technologies products will become a standard option for Prefabulous customers.

Martin Deil, CEO of ClearVue Technologies Global, said the partnership with Prefabulous simplifies the mass technology adoption journey BIPV solutions in modular construction, among other things to meet the needs of the regular housing sector.

Prefabulous founder and managing director Gavin King said the company’s customers are looking for sustainable housing solutions that looks great.

“Working with ClearVue allows us to further push the boundaries of what is possible in modular homes, combining style and sustainability in a way that benefits both homeowners and the planet,” said King.
