Developer of Renewable Energie Innova has sold ITS27.5 MW Ducklington Solar Project to investment firm Schroders Greencoat.

The Ducklington Solar Project is located in Oxfordshire and received the planning stamp in March 2022. Construction is expected to start in the first quarter of this year, whereby the generation is expected to start at the beginning of 2026.

This is the fifth solar project that Innova has sold to Schroders Greencat, a total of 110 MWp capacity. In November 2024, Innova sold the 28.5 MWP Stokeford Solar Park to Schroders, after he had previously worked with the company under their joint venture partnership, is Renewables, which was formed in 2023. Schroders continues to expand his reach

Schroders Greencoat expanded his portfolio considerably in 2024, with a number of large acquisitions.

In July, the company acquired an 110 MW British solar port feuille, consisting of three assets throughout England, from Metlen Energy and Metals. Less than a month later, the fund completed the purchase of the 80.5 MWP South Meath Solar Farm from Statkraft, and later in August 2024 the 49.9 MW Tiln Farm Solar Project from Lightsource BP acquired.
