GE JE EIBLY has announced that it is planning to invest nearly $ 600 million in its American factories and facilities in the coming two years to help meet the rising electricity requirements around the world.

The new investments – which are expected to create around 1500 new American jobs – will help to stimulate American energy payability, national security and competitiveness and to enable American production printing that is needed to support the expansion of global exports.

“These investments represent our serious commitment and responsibility as the leading energy manufacturer in the United States to help meet the accelerating energy demand of America and the world,” said Scott Strazik, CEO of GE Vertova. “These strategic investments and the jobs they create are intended to help our customers double demand if American innovation and technology development speed up to increase the energy survey and worldwide competitiveness of the country.”

The company is planning to invest more than $ 10 million in its Pittsburgh facility, Pennsylvania, to expand the possibilities in its electrification segment. This includes planned financing to accommodate a new domestic production line for the company’s flexioner, an important technology for applications in the field of solar energy and energy storage. The total investment is expected to create more than 270 new jobs, with the new line producing both the 1500V and the 2000V Flex Inverter. This helps to enable utility companies to seamlessly connect seamlessly with the grid, which guarantees stable and consistent energy supply for houses and companies.

GE VERLOVA is also planning to expand gas turbine, nuclear and wind power production in facilities throughout the country, together with the growth of his energy research shub in New York.

The new investments are the first part of a larger cumulative Global Capex and R&D investment plan from $ 9 billion to 2028 that was announced during the investor update of the company on December 10, 2024. Currently, you have more than 18,000 employees in 50 States in the US, with 18 American production facilities and the global headquarters in Massachusetts.
