Scanifly has a PV design and field operations software provider, has Integrated services with PV -mounting manufacturer K2 -Systems. Solar contractors now have access to the K2 offer -Tool without leaving the Scanifly platform.

With the direct API integration, PV designers can select racking equipment that are optimized for their layout and generate a Bill of Materials (BOM) in one workflow.

“Moving between platforms to complete designs, wastes time and creates opportunities for errors,” said Jason Steinberg, CEO of Scanifly. “Our K2 -Quote integration keeps everything in one place, so that contractors can design and specify the required racking solutions without switching between tools.”

Due to the integration of services, it is not necessary to recreate designs in K2 quotation, so that the time required for designing project layouts is shortened. The integration uses scaniflys on drone-based design technology, which produces a 3D model of the property of the property with surface measurements and structural details that transfer to the K2 quotation, for which no manual data input is required.

“The 3D models from Scanifly give us the precision needed for accurate solar designs,” said Todd Lindquist, technical supervisor of the most important account at Eagle Point Solar. “Now, with the K2 quote integration, the same level of accuracy automatically extends to our materials, which removes double work and ensures that our teams have the exact equipment they need on location. This is our ideal workflow -with our favorite rinse mounting system with our favorite software for solar design. “
