The new company will be majority by Arcadia. Bruce Stewart, President and CEO of Perch, will serve as CEO of the new company and be on the board of directors, while Kiran Bhatraju will continue to serve as CEO of Arcadia and will also be on the board of the new company. Both companies were early leaders in community zonne and have for decades of energy experience, which provide strong ROI for their solar developer partners and high-quality customer service for a wide range of commercial, residential and low to moderate income (LMI) customers. Together, the new company will manage more than 3 GW of solar capacity on 1,000 solar projects in 16 states, with more than 300,000 equivalents of customers with their own software technology and automation.

The Joint Venture will use the best of both companies, the leading customer acquisition, invoicing and utility data software from Arcadia, to the historical power of perks that serve commercial customers, reporting options of production-to-pay and the management of the combined teams for all clients’ and policy experts.

“We believe that this company reflects the natural evolution and maturation of the community solar activities and are pleased to merge two strong teams with such dynamic and complementary services and technology,” said Bruce Stewart, CEO of the new company. “This company also talks about the clear need that we have heard from project developers of Zonne project and partners of assets who want a financially strong and scalable partner who can reliably serve them for decades. A partner who can support them with their growth plans and can meet the demand of the customer, because residents, companies and governments continue to embrace community zoning in the US.
