Chinese PV industry Letter: Kelin Electric to raise money for 1 GW Perovskite project

Kelin Electric says it is planning to collect up to CNY 1.46 billion ($ 201.8 million) through a private placement, with CNY 1.26 billion allocated for a 1 GW Perovskite Solar Module project in Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province.

Kelin Electric Said that it is planning to collect up to CNY 1.46 billion through a private placement, with CNY 1.26 billion allocated for a 1 GW Perovskite Solar Module project in Hangzhou, the province of Zhejiang. The remaining CNY 200 million will be used for working capital. The move follows the earlier progress of Kelin in Perovskite technology, with his subsidiary Hangzhou Keno that launches a test production from a 100 MW Groot-area PEROVSKITE MODULE LINE in November 2024. The company wants to scale up its activities with the new 1 GW project.

Trinda New Enery CNY has registered 9.95 billion in income for 2024, a decrease of 46.66% year after year. The company recorded a net loss of CNY591 million, which marked a decrease of 172.47%. Despite the financial decline, the solar cell shipments of Trinda grew by 12.62% year after year to 33.74 GW. N-type cell shipments were more than 90% of the total at 30.99 GW, an increase of 50.58% compared to the previous year. The company also emphasized the efficiency gain, with its average mass production conversion efficiency that improves with more than 0.5 percentage points and non-silicon costs per watt fell by around 30%.

China Datang Group has announced plans to develop two new energy projects in the province of Hunan. The company will invest CNY 300 million in a 60 MW Agri-PHOTOVOLTAIC (BOS-Solar) project in Yongzhou and CNY 1,253 billion in a 220 MW Aquaculture-Solar Hybrid project in Change.

China resources new energy has obtained the approval for his first public supply request at the most important exhibition of China.
