Scanifly has a solar design and field processing software, has Integrated services of PegasusA provider based in California on the roof of solar mounting systems. The integration automatically transfers scanifly design data and panel placement directly into the Pegasus design tool, which eliminates platform switching and duplicate work.

The direct API integration connects the design environment of Scanifly with the Rack Lay -Out of Pegasus, Bill of Materials (BOM) and technical document options. Solar contractors can now select assembly equipment and generate a bomb in one uniform workflow.

“Accurate rack systems require precise roof measurements, exact panel placement and actual structural on-site structural data,” said Jason Steinberg, CEO of Scanifly. “Scaniflys on drone-based photo-realistic design outputs are unique detailed to provide this data. Pegasus pioneers pioneering with the creation and promotion of racking solutions, and we are delighted to deliver this with a much faster path from the first survey to the final installation.”

The integration combines the drone-based 3D models from Scanifly with the mounting structures of Pegasus, including SkipRail, Rail System and Instatilt products. Contractors can specify Instaflash2 and other blinking solutions based on actual roof conditions.

“This integration connects two critical parts of the process – accurate roof measurement and correct assembly specification – which makes a good difference what looks in the design will perform directly on the roof,” said Andrew Jones, VP of Sales at Pegasus. “Pegasus and share Scanifly Many contractor relationships, especially some of the highest and renowned companies in the industry, including Sunnymac, Freedom Solar and Good Fead Energy. These contractors will really benefit from this advanced integration.”
