On March 28, Cornen, a lithium battery maker with head office in the province of Hubei, unveiled his fourth generation of lithium iron phosphate (LFP) energy storage cell with a capacity of 472 AH.

Measuring the cell of 74 mm × 220 mm × 225 mm, builds the cell on the architecture of its predecessor, the 314ah “Long π” cell, which retains its own material formulations and automated production processes. This continuity ensures high reliability, thermal stability, safety compliance and production consistency, while the manufacturer has reached a quantum jump, the manufacturer said.

The 1,510.4 WH -Nominal energy per cell marks an increase of 50% over the 314 AH model, powered by a gravimetric energy density of 195 WH/kg and 420 WH/L Volumetric density, figures swinging in the vicinity of the theoretical ceiling for LFP -Chemistry.
