German TSO 50Hertz On Tuesday, the first grid operator of the country to be tendered for market-based reactive power-electricity that flows back and forth in a varied interest tax to retain a stable voltage instead of being consumed by an end user.

German utilities Regulator The Federal Network Agency has charged high and extra-high-voltage grilles with the protection of reactive electricity on a market-based, by the end of this year and 50 Hertz is first out of the blocks.

The current contract system offered between schedules and conventional power plants will replace the current contracting system, so that the determination for competition is opened. It is expected that renewable energy, battery and electrolyzer locations compete to deliver reactive power, because the inverters can offer the service at such locations, even when no electricity is entered in the grid.
