Fintieri Said that the world’s first hydrogen -driven cruise ship is building, the ‘Viking Libra’, which will be able to generate electricity and propulsion on board with the help of hydrogen stored on board. The ship, under construction on the Fincantieri Ancona Shipyard, is planned for delivery at the end of 2026 and can accommodate up to 998 guests in 499 passenger cabins. The Viking Libra contains polymer electrolytemembraan (PEM) Fuel cell systems produced by a subsidiary of Fincantieri. Fincantieri also said it signed an agreement with Viking to build two more cruise ships for delivery in 2031, with an option for two extra ships.

Coca-Cola Bottelaars Japan Said it will make the first hydrogen cartridge machine in the world debut at the Kansai Expo 2025 in Osaka. The automatic transmission has been developed with Fuji Electric and will serve as a test site for future technologies. ‘“If an automatic transmission of the next generation that is not influenced by weather or installation location and does not broadcast CO2 during the operation, it brings advanced technologies from Japan and abroad,” said Coca-Cola Bottlers Japan.

Spain Instituto Para la Diversificación y Ahorro de la Energía (Idae) has approved € 1.2 billion ($ 1.3 billion) in financing to support seven renewable hydrogen production and consumption projects in Aragon, Andalusia, Castilla Y León and Galicia, under the repair, transformation and resilience plan of the European Union.

Hamburg Commercial Bank (HCOB) said that the metal and chemical industry, as well as refineries, is expected to be one of the first significant green hydrogen consumers. HCOB said This green hydrogen must be produced cost -effectively and in large quantities for the carbon -low in the industry to succeed, with local production and infrastructure development in Europe by 2030 crucial for accelerating this effort.

Air fluid said that his electrolyzer in Oberhausen, Germany, became the first factory in the country that received the RFNBO certificate. The French company said The certification enables companies to officially explain hydrogen from Oberhausen as a greenhouse gas -reducing fuel.

Electric hydrogen said that the fully integrated solution lowers the total installed costs of clean hydrogen projects by a maximum of 60% with its PEM technology and modular approach. The American Pem-Electrolyzer specialist said Solution has a single plant design with configurable electrolysis capacity from 80 MW to 120 MW, able to produce 1500 kg to 2,300 kg of hydrogen per hour.

Honeywell said it has launched a series of AI-compatible technologies that are aimed at lowering the production costs of the hydrogen. It claimed That the solution improves the efficiency of electrolysis and optimizes business activities by integrating predictive control algorithms, making hydrogen production more sustainable and more cost -effective.

BGR Tech Said that it signed a heads of Agreement (HOA) with engineering contractor Chemie Tech to work together on Multi-Megawatt FreeSe Turnkey (LSTK) Green hydrogen and ammonia projects around the world. It said they are planning to concentrate on regions such as the Middle East, Africa, Europe, Australia and India. BGR Tech offers critical green hydrogen generation and purifying equipment, including electrolyzers.
