EbrD launches tender for 28 MW Solar in Bosnia and Herzegovina – PV Magazine International

The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) has started a tender for 28 MW of solar projects in Bosnia and Herzegovina under the plan of the state of EPBIH to use 195 MW PV capacity.

The EbrD has one tenderly To build three solar plants of a total of 28 MW in Bosnia and Herzegovina. The projects include an array of 15 MW in Gornja Breza, a factory of 8 MW in Visca and a 5 MW facility in Podvelezje.

Interested developers must submit offers for 26 May.

The three projects are part of the first tranche of the EPBIH Solar Transition Program, which implements the EBRD for state use JP Electroprivreda Bosne I Hercegovine. The tranche also includes projects planned in Potočari 1 (16 MW), Banovići Selo (8 MW) and deception, where two 8 MW -Arrays and a 16 MW factory are presented.

The EPBIH Solar Transition Program of € 89 million ($ 101.4 million) requires 13 sun factories of a total of 195 MW.

Bosnia doubled its installed PV capacity to 212 MW towards the end of 2024, according to the International Renewable Energy Agency (Irena).
