Trina Storage announced that it works together with Flexgen to deliver a 371-MWH Battery Energy storage system in Houston, Texas. The project, developed by SMT Energy, is the greatest commitment of Trina Storage in North America.
This large-scale storage project uses the Advanced Elementa 2 solution from Trina Storage, designed to optimize energy performance and reliability and at the same time reduce operational risks, together with long-term services that are offered together with Flexgen to ensure the reliability of assets.
Flexgen offers system integration and implements its Hybridos energy management software, with which site operators can easily manage systems, can detect problems faster, predict maintenance needs and ultimately maximize operational efficiency.
“This project is proof of Trina Storage’s ability to offer a full bankable, integrated energy storage solution that meets the developing needs of the market,” said Terry Chen, VP of Trina Storage Noord -America. “As our first commitment on the grid scale in North America, this performance reflects the trust of industry in our technology and our dedication to create investments in energy storage and to support the energy transition in the region.”
