Solarbank has announced plans to develop a 7.2 MWDC Ground-Mount Community Solar Array known as the GLOR RD project in Upstate New York. With a secure location – Lease and Interconnecto Study underway, the project is another important addition to the growing development pipeline of Solarbank.
GLOR RD is eligible for the Vder rate compensation mechanism under NY Public Utility Commission Case 15-E-0751. The average compensation of the year 1 is currently projected at $ 0.0971/kWh. The project is also expected to be eligible for stimuli in the context of the Nyserda NY-Sun program.
Solar Simplified processes all customer-oriented activities for Solarbank’s Community Solar projects, so that it can concentrate on developing and expanding the portfolio of renewable energy.
